Botox treatment for migraines

Numerous studies have been published in recent years in which patients with migraines and other forms of headaches, such as cluster headaches or whiplash headaches, have benefited from local Botox injections. It was shown that three to ten days after treatment with Botox, the frequency, duration and intensity of headache attacks could be significantly reduced. Treatment with Botox for migraines should be carried out at regular intervals, as the effect only lasts for three to six months.
