The “little” Tummy tuck
Some stomachs are actually beautiful. But unfortunately only actually. If only there weren't those annoying wrinkles below the belly button. ?These are the best conditions for a mini tummy tuck.

Mini tummy tuck

As long as the umbilicus is not relocated during the tummy tuck, it is possible to do a mini tummy tuck, in which the incision is significantly shorter and deeper, which is why it can be hidden better. So nothing stands in the way of the bikini.

Operation duration: 1 hour
Anesthesia: general anesthesia or local anesthesia with twilight sleep
Hospital stay: outpatient or one night
Compression pants: 3 – 4 weeks
Sport: after 3 weeks
Sociable: after 1 week
Inability to work: up to 1 week

Before Surgery

  • For a period of around 14 days before the mini tummy tuck, you should avoid medications that contain acetylsalicylic acid (e.g. aspirin, ASA, etc.), as these impair blood clotting.
  • You should also largely avoid alcohol, cigarettes and sleeping pills. Nicotine can also reduce blood flow and delay wound healing. Therefore, avoid nicotine two weeks before the operation and also during the wound healing phase.

After Surgery

  • Hospital stay: none
  • Thrombosis prophylaxis: not necessary
  • Sports ban for 2-3 weeks

Surgery Highlights

The mini tummy tuck can be performed during the day and during twilight sleep. However, sometimes combined liposuction is recommended to improve the contour. During the operation, the excess skin is removed and the edges of the wound are neatly stitched up. There is no need for an umbilical dislocation.

Possible Risks

Sometimes bleeding and bruising occur. Infections with impaired wound healing are rare.
